The Value of the Customer Value Community

What once started as an ambition to bring GTM leaders together to unite on value has now grown into the largest community dedicated to building value-led growth strategies. And, over my past 3 ½ years at Ecosystems, I have watched the Customer Value Community grow from a group of less than 500 to now 4,300+ members strong, spanning 1,600+ top B2B companies. 

As part of the Community Team at Ecosystems, I have the pleasure of working day in and day out with our members to hear their unique challenges and perspectives on the industry. With each interaction, I always enter with one goal in mind: what can we do as a team to better support our members? 

Over the years, this question has driven our community to evolve and grow, expanding into three unique cohorts that are specifically designed to meet the individual needs of our members. And, what started as quarterly webinars within our community has expanded to monthly live discussions, curated small group meetings, in-person executive forums, and our flagship event, the annual ELEVATE retreat. 

With each new member that joins, I am often posed a similar question: What does this community have to offer, and how can I get involved? To that end, I am breaking down each cohort within the community, as well as their benefits and resources.

Value Practitioners

As the largest segment of our community, the Value Practitioners is over 4,000+ members strong, open to all B2B professionals with an interest in collective learning and sharing around customer value. Made up of professionals in B2B Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, Value, or Marketing, this group focuses on hands-on learning for your front-line teams. Whether you are struggling with adoption, looking to build out your value practice, or are trying to create relevant value content for your front-line team, it is likely you will find benefit from this group of professionals.

This segment of our community is free for all to join! If you are interested in participating, you can register here. Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned professional in customer value, this community will have something to offer you. As a member of this cohort, you will gain access to the following resources:

  1. Customer Value Community Slack 

Here, our members share learnings, pose their own questions and challenges to the broader group, and share open jobs at their organizations. We also regularly communicate with our community through this group to keep you up to date on all upcoming events currently being hosted. 

  1. Customer Value Community Sandbox 

As a member of the community, you are welcome to register for our monthly Sandbox workshops that are hosted on the 2nd Tuesday of each month over Zoom. This informal workshop focuses on the current challenges our members are facing, with topics being derived from our live conversations in the community. 

Each month, Kyle Wilson, Manager of Value Consulting at Ecosystems, and Lauren Wentworth, Senior Solutions Architect at Ecosystems, come together with a featured guest from our community to discuss topics like:

  • Working with Partners
  • Developing New Value Content
  • Value Discovery
  • Aligning Value Practices to Sales Methodologies 
  1. Quarterly Webinars 

During each quarter of the year, Ecosystems hosts a live webinar over Zoom for all of our members, focusing on trending topics in the community with expert speakers on the topic. You can download all past recordings and explore our recent topics on our on-demand webinar page.

  1. Resource Database

Our community is constantly innovating around customer value with new ideas sparking on a daily basis in live conversations. To ensure the collective learnings are accessible to our members, we derived a resource database that all community members gain access to upon joining

  1. Innovation Labs

Ecosystems recently launched our newest iteration of our agentic AI Virtual Value Engineer, known as ViViENTM 2.0, based on the insights and learnings we have gained from feedback from the Customer Value Community. As a thank you, we offer all Customer Value Community members the chance to participate in our Innovation Labs to test out ViViENTM 2.0 live on their own value prompts.   1. The Value Blueprint 3.0

Based on decades of research on buyer/seller behavior by Brent Adamson, Ecosystems’ former Global Head of Research & Community, and author of The Challenger Sale, and Ecosystems’ experience leading 250+ company-wide sales transformation initiatives, the Value Blueprint 3.0 serves as a guide for aligning your entire organization on a common vision of value. As a member, you will gain access to our benchmarking, as well as the opportunity to meet with our team to discuss your unique standing and how you can up-level your organization around value. 

Value Disruptors 

Our Value Disruptors cohort is an invite-only group of progressive leaders in the value discipline who are dedicated to breaking glass in customer value and constantly innovating and learning. These members are often the head of their respective disciplines within their organizations, whether that be the Head of Value, Customer Success, or Sales. This group is a dynamic “community within a community” that strives to collaborate.

Revenue Leaders

Reserved for C-level leaders of commercial teams, such as Chief Revenue Officers, Chief Customer Officers, or Chief Sales Officers, this invite-only cohort focuses on challenges executives are facing in their daily work. These members are true innovators within their organization who are setting the standard for customer value.
